Horse Boarding

The octagon log barn, built by Timmerhus Inc. in Boulder Colorado, is often exclaimed to be too nice for a horse! Stalls are 17’ by 21’, opening onto large paddocks. The 60’ round pen is close by for warming up. We will bed the stall with shavings and clean — you provide feed. Convenient wash rack and trailer parking.

There are several quiet Forest Service roads surrounding the ranch which are handy for a short ride. Venture out to the Pacific Crest Trail (about a 30 minute drive), Juniper Lake in Lassen Park (about a 25 minute drive), or Caribou Wilderness (about 1 hour drive). The owner drives her horse and cart out of the ranch on several tracks suitable for carriage driving.
