Fishing

We partner with Lance Gray and Company to offer private waters, catch and release, fly fishing. The lake is stocked each spring with small trophy rainbow trout, averaging about 1 ½ pounds. We were able to obtain brown trout in 2012, prior to the banning of stocking brown trout and some have wintered over. A favorite fishing adventure for the first time angler — we often host grandpa and grandson or granddaughter. Fishing off the dock is a fun, easily accessible adventure for anglers. Fishing is usually closed during August to protect the health of the trout.
